What to include for a fast, accurate diamond drilling quote
A few specifics turn a rough estimate into a firm quote. If you have them to hand, send:
- Hole sizes. The diameter of each core is the single biggest price driver. A 52mm cable core and a 300mm ventilation core are very different jobs.
- Depths. How thick is the slab or wall you are going through? A 200mm floor and a 600mm ground beam are not the same.
- Number of holes or length of cut. Quantity and run length matter for both drilling and sawing.
- Material. Reinforced concrete, plain concrete, brick, block or masonry. Reinforced concrete takes longer and costs more.
- Access. Floor, wall or ceiling, how we get the kit in, working height, parking and whether the area is occupied.
- Postcode. So we can confirm we cover it and factor in travel.
If you have drawings or a photo of the location, attach them when we reply, or bring them up on the phone. Do not worry if you cannot answer everything. Send what you have and we will ask about the rest.

What happens next
We respond to every enquiry, usually the same working day. If the job is clear from your details, you get a price. If it needs a look, we arrange a free survey at a time that suits you, then quote off the back of it. Once you are happy, we book the work in.
