Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to the information you send us through this website. It is written for My Diamond Drilling Essex, a diamond drilling and concrete cutting business based at 282 Leigh Road, Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, SS9 1BW. We have kept it plain and short.

What we collect

If you fill in the quote form we ask for your name, your phone number and a description of the job. You can also add a postcode. That is all the form collects. If you call us instead, we only hold the details you give us on the call.

Why we collect it

We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and quote or carry out the work you have asked about. We do not add you to a marketing list, we do not send newsletters, and we do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and to keep a sensible record of work we have quoted or carried out. When they are no longer needed, we delete them.

The map on our site

Our contact page shows an embedded Google Map so you can find us. When that map loads, Google may receive information such as your IP address, as it would on any page that includes one of their maps. That part is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not ours. The map is set to load without blocking the rest of the page.

Analytics and tracking

We keep tracking to a minimum. We do not run intrusive advertising trackers or profiling on this site. Any basic measurement we use is there to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful, in a way that does not identify you personally.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of that, call us on 01245 377746 and we will sort it out. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK regulator.
